This is a rare opportunity to enjoy classic Bonzo material performed live by original members of the much-loved Bonzo Bog Doo-Dah Band.

In 2006 the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band re-formed after 35 years in limbo. All the surviving original members were there including Bob Kerr and the legendary Vernon Dudley Bowhay-Nowell. The gigs were received with great acclaim and the re-energised Bonzos soon found performing nationwide tours to full houses and rave reviews. In 2007 a brilliant new studio album was recorded with the help of some new millennium Bonzos such as Stephen Fry, Phill Jupitus and Adrian Edmondson. Alas all good things come to an end and last year the Bonzos decided to finally call it a day and went their own separate ways once more.

For Bob and Vernon, the buzz of meeting the fans again and performing the material was such fun that it seemed a crime to halt the Bonzo rollercoaster ride. The duo therefore hit on the idea of “The Bonzomania Show”, focusing on the vaudeville aspects of the Bonzos and including a medley of their hit.

For over forty years Bob Kerr and his Whoopee Band have travelled the length and breadth of Europe and beyond with their madcap brand of musical humour, described as a cross between Spike Jones, The Marx Brothers and Monty Python so the correct musical forces were on hand to attempt the impossible. Mix the Bonzos with the New Vaudeville Band, The Alberts, and The Temperance Seven.
So grab your ticket now and prepare for a hilarious musical assault, a non-stop show of unashamed nostalgia, honest fun and great entertainment from the 1920s right up to today.

Just a few of the songs you will hear include Jollity Farm, Hunting Tigers, My Brother Makes The Noises For The Talkies, I’m The Urban Spaceman, Doctor Jazz, Button Up Your Overcoat, A Room With A View, The Sheik Of Araby, Home In Pasedena, You’re Driving Me Crazy, Cocktails For Two, Winchester Cathedral, You Always Hurt The One You Love, Crazy Words Crazy Tune along with other Bonzo favourites.

Don’t miss it whatever you do......

It’s tragic magic! This is the true story of the Bonzos in their own words featuring the recollections of original members Neil Innes, Rodney Slater, Sam Spoons, Vernon Dudley Bowhay-Nowell, Bob Kerr and the irrepressible “Legs” Larry Smith. Also featured are extensive interviews given by the late, great Vivian Stanshall.

The inimitable Dada-inspired collision of music, comedy, art, robots and vaudeville is totally unique and has never been equaled and is sadly missed. The Bonzos were brilliant and continue

Now on vinyl picture disk with bonus CD!

Following the huge success of the vinyl edition of Pour L’amour Des Chiens - we are proud to announce the release of the first ever Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band vinyl picture disc.

The visual effect of this magnificent object is quite simply stunning. It is a thrill in itself to behold the acclaimed artwork for Wrestle Poodles expanded from puny CD size to the full majestic grandeur of the 12 inch LP and all in full glorious colour. It’s an additional delight to discover that this handsome item is presented on heavyweight 180 GSM vinyl and comes complete in a specially designed gold presentation sleeve. The cumulative effect of this wonderful thing of great beauty is to instantly transport the listener right back to the heyday of vinyl.

The disc looks great, but the listening experience is even more rewarding.

In the MP3 world of playlists and party shuffles the uninterrupted flow of digital music at reduced sampling rates has in many ways reduced the overall quality of the listening experience. By it’s very convenience digital music has transformed the music which once commanded rapt concentration to the status of background listening.

With the return of the vinyl experience music listening again becomes a dedicated and much more intense experience.
This is just like how things used to be; the anticipation of lowering the stylus on to the groove, the warmth of the analogue sound, then a concentrated listening experience which demands our full attention rewards the listener with it’s subtle depths.

These are just some of the reasons why this superb picture disc is the must have object for every Bonzo fan. If you no longer have a turntable there is the bonus CD!

It’s still wonderful to own one even if you mount it on your wall - as many do. But best of all it might just tempt you to return to your local hi-fi store and pick up a turntable and discover once more just how good music can be.
